On the 1st August the funding rules change and some of the training currently funded will no longer be supported. So now is the time to act. FaCT has secured more funding to enable more people to be trained before these changes are implemented.
We have funding for:

• Lead installers and supervisors who need a Gold FISS/CSCS card – places are limited
• Machinery drivers who need to upgrade their Red CPCS card to Blue
• Fencers who need to renew their FISS/CSCS card and require health and safety training.
• Fencers who need to upgrade to a Blue FISS/CSCS card. If they are under 25 years old, the business can receive £1500 from the government as additional support.

Improvements to Health, Safety and Vocational Training programme in England

FaCT has made improvements to their Health, Safety and Vocational training programme, to enable more to attend and take advantage of this funding. As well as organising your FISS/CSCS card application, FaCT has secured funding to help reduce the cost and also fund two or three extra days training.

You can renew your FISS/CSCS card (or apply for your first green card) and for just an extra £75 (Total cost £250) you get six certificates to enable your staff to be fully certificated for the next three to five years.

• Emergency First Aid course
• Abrasive Wheels and CAT & Genny courses
• FISS/CSCS card application (Green, Blue, Gold or Black)

FaCT open its doors for their first training course at their new training centre in Birmingham today. Twelve candidates for six different companies were the first to attend a health safety and environmental awareness course.

“Its a great facility which was so easy to get to” was one comment from a candidate, and the trainer loved the new light and airy training room with all the equipment and refreshments available on site

FACT limites launches its new website, jointly designed and built by Norsk Solutions.
