Blue Skilled Installers FISS/CSCS Card

Blue
Skilled Installers
FISS/CSCS Card

The Blue FISS CSCS card is for skilled fence installers.

This is the card construction sites will require for fencer installers.

British Standards 1722, states that all fencers should hold a Blue FISS/CS card.

It is a requirement under National Highways Sector Scheme 10B for all VRS fence installers.

To gain a Blue card you must

Hold the Level 2 Diploma in Fencing or VRS Fencing,

Attend and pass a Health and Safety Awareness course

Pass the Health, Safety and Environment test for operatives (touchscreen).

VRS installers are also required to attend and pass a VRS Foundation, Installer and Product-specific course.

Card life span and renewal

The card is valid for 5 years after which time to renew your card you must

Attend and pass a Health and Safety Awareness course

Pass the Health, Safety and Environment test for operatives (touchscreen).

VRS installers need to refresh their VRS installer and product-specific courses.

You do not need to redo your level 2 qualification, because that is valid for life

FaCT can facilitate both the achievement of the Blue FISS CSCS and its renewal

Check out our Level 2 Diploma pages and the Health & Safety Training and Testing information.
