FaCT is pleased to announce that we have been approved by Lantra to deliver the new qualification.

We are now starting to recruit learners to start the qualification in January 2024, so lets answer a few questions first.
- Why is the qualification needed?
With the end of “grandfather-rights” (industry accreditation) those who gained a Gold LISS/CSCS via this route are now required to hold a supervisor’s qualification in Landscaping. Lantra has developed this qualification working with BALI and the landscape industry. Lantra has asked FaCT to deliver this qualification along with our suite of supervisory and management qualifications we currently deliver to the land-based sector. - Who is the qualification for?
The qualification is for any work-based supervisor working within the landscape industry, who needs to either renew his “grandfather rights” Gold LISS/CSCS card or apply for a new Gold LISS/CSCS supervisors card. - What does the qualification cover?
The qualification includes 6 mandatory units and 4 optional units including:- Implementing and maintaining health, safety environmental and welfare practices in the workplace

- How is the qualification achieved?
The qualification is achieved by the candidate working with one of our experienced work-based assessors. They will carry out work-based assessment visits to observe the candidate at work and help to collect a range of evidence to show that he is a skilled and competent work-based supervisor.
