Qualifications
FaCT in partnership with Lantra are proud to announce the launch of the new Level 2 Fencing Qualifications.
Following a lot of research and hard work over the last 6 to 9 months the new fencing level 2 qualifications are being launched today.
This is a very exciting step forward for the fencing industry to ensure that we have the right qualifications for the whole of the fencing community with the additional routes for competency and enabling a wider range of fencers to both gain the qualification and hold the Blue FISS/CSCS card
We now have 5 distinctive qualification routes
- General Fencing – Strained wire
- General Fencing – Non strained
- VRS Fencing – Permanent
- VRS Fencing – Parapet
- VRS Fencing – Temporary
FaCT will be one of the first providers to offer you these qualifications and we are pleased to be working with major manufacturers and installation companies in delivering these qualifications.
We will deliver these qualifications with our team of industry experienced work based assessors. We will support the candidates through every step of the process with regular site visits, and effective collection of evidence. So there is very little “down time” you do not need to take photos or write up reports, we do that for you. You just need to continue installing high quality fences and answer the underpinning knowledge questions. Our normal completion time of 3 to 4 months will be maintained (except in Scotland and Ireland we will may take a little longer, because of the distances to travel – sorry) We will then claim your certification which you should have within 2 to 3 weeks and then we will also apply for your FISS/CSCS skills card (subject to holding the correct health & safety and product training) – contact us for advice.
