Improvements to Health, Safety and Vocational Training programme in England
FaCT has made improvements to their Health, Safety and Vocational training programme, to enable more to attend and take advantage of this funding. As well as organising your FISS/CSCS card application, FaCT has secured funding to help reduce the cost and also fund two or three extra days training.
You can renew your FISS/CSCS card (or apply for your first green card) and for just an extra £75 (Total cost £250) you get six certificates to enable your staff to be fully certificated for the next three to five years.
What is included?
- Health, Safety & Environmental Awareness course
- Emergency First Aid course
- Abrasive Wheels and CAT & Genny courses
- FISS/CSCS card application (Green, Blue, Gold or Black)
Also included at induction, are short multiple choice questionnaires on the Safe Use of Power Tools & Understanding Boundary Fencing, which must be passed to meet funding eligability. There will be a requirement to attend an additional one day course on these subjects, if the standards are not met..
The classroom training is delivered either as one block or 1 or 2 days a month. Each individual course is certificated and an overall Certificate from Lantra will be awarded. All you need to do is attend the training courses and pass your touch screen test (not funded). FaCT will then apply for your new FISS/CSCS card and vocational training certificates.
