FaCT launch the first new independent VRS training centre

FaCT are very please to announce approval of its new vehicle restraint system training centre in the Midlands.

Approved by Lantra on the 28th Aug 2014, we are pleased to be able to offer existing and new clients the opportunity to received approve VRS training at our new centre.

Currently approved to delivery the 2 day core, 3 day non proprietary and refresher courses, with dates an space available in Sept / Oct and Nov.

There were many comments but they consistently highlighted 3 main reasons why people used FaCT:
 
1.     FaCT has expert knowledge of the fencing industry ensuring we get the right information on cards, courses and training.
 
2.     FaCT has excellent links to funding which helps make training very cost effective, making the funding routes easer to understand and FaCT manage this for us. (FaCT have sourced over £1m funding for the fencing industry over the last 2½ years). 
 
3.     FaCT provides quality training and qualification delivery, enabling companies and their employees to get the qualification, cards and training they need.
 
We simplify the training and card systems to ensure you get what you need quickly – taking the problem off your desk and dealing with it for you, leaving you to run the business.
We will be launching a range of new services to continue to support industry with its training requirements and the survey results have helpeh with our development plans for 2014. Thank you.

FaCT approved to deliver Management qualification

FaCT are please to have recieved confirmation for Lantra Awards, that if has been approved as centre for the following leadership and managment qualifications

  • Level 3 Award in Principles of Time Management in Landbased Businesses
  • Level 3 Certificate in Leading and Managing Teams in Landbased Establishments
  • Level 4 Award in Introduction to First Line Management in Landbased Settings
  • Level 4 Award in Managing Environmental Performance (Waste)
  • Level 5 Diploma in Principles of Leadership and Management in Landbased Settings
  • Level 6 Award in Leadership and Management in Sales for Landbased Businesses
  • Level 6 Award in Managing Business Risks in Landbased Establishments
  • Level 7 Certificate in Strategic Direction and Leadership in Landbased Businesses

FaCT are pleased and excited to recieve this approval and look forward to starting to deliver these qualifications along with the fencing level 2 3 & 4 qualifications it has been delivering over the pass 3 years.

It is also planned that the  Level 5 Diploma in Principles of Leadership and Management in Landbased Settings, with replace the old Level 4 Fence Managers NVQ.  FaCT will be keeping you updated on this progress as it will now be a requirement to gain the black FISS/CSCS managers card.

 

 

New funding contracts signed for 2013 – 14

FaCT have been succesful in secureing ongoing funding for the fencing industry in both England and Wales.

Even with the changes in the funding rules and a reduction in funds availible FaCT can still offer substatial funding suport for many elements of training including

  • Level 2 Diploma in Fencing  (England only) over 18s
  • Level 2 Diploma in Fencing VRS (england only)over 18s
  • Level 3 Diploma in Fence Supervision for under 24s (England only)

 

  • Apprenticeship in Fencing (level 2)   England and Wales
  • Advanced Apprenticeship (level 3)   England under 24s

 

  • Plant NVQ’s (England only)

 

  • Health, safety and vocational training programme (England only) over 18s
