Due to Coronaviris and people not been able to attend training courses easily, FaCT has developed a range of courses that can be delivered via the internet.
These are not like a lot of online courses where someone just sits in front of a computer clicking through some slide.
Our courses are delivered by a real live experienced trainer, who talks with the learners, who are encouraged to ask questions and get involved. All learners can see the trainer as well as images, videos and a presentation, which are all viewed on the learner’s computer, laptop or even smartphone. (each learner must have access to one of these with an internet connection)
At the end of the course, the learner will receive a question paper sent to their computer and they simply click on the answers and submit the completed form. These are then instantly marked and the result sent back to the learner, within a few minutes.
Within 24 hours all learners who successfully complete the course will receive their certificate of achievement and a supporting training manual.
We currently have four courses available,
- Location of underground services and CAT – HSG47
- Abrasive Wheels HSG19
- Safe Use of Power Tool – PUWER
- Manual Handling
We are developing more courses as we speak, including; working at height, asbestos awareness and health and safety awareness.
These courses are around 2 1/2 to 3 hours long and we are delivering a different course each morning starting next week.
FaCT is offering the first 100 bookings at a discounted rate of just £50 per person per course (plus VAT)
The normal price is £75 per person per course, compared to £89.50 for the classroom courses.
