What Fencing Qualifications Does FaCT Provide?
Our Level 1 Health and Safety in Construction Environment course is designed to give those entering the fencing and construction industries suitable health and safety training and qualifications to apply for Green or Red FISS/CSCS cards which allow them to work as general labourers on construction sites.
The Level 2 Diploma in Fencing is designed for those who want to develop their skills as a fencer or for experienced fencers who want to confirm their skills and abilities. The diploma is achieved by building a portfolio of evidence that demonstrates competency in accordance with National Occupational Standards. FaCT have a team of experienced trainers and assessors who will support the learner through the process, enabling them to gain the qualification as a skilled fencer and hold the Blue FISS/CSCS skilled installer card.
The Level 3 Diploma in Fencing is for fencers and supervisors who want to further develop their skills and knowledge to enable them to gain the Gold FISS/CSCS Supervisors card and work as a leader, supervisor or contract manager.
Our Level 5 Diploma in Principles of Leadership and Management is for Managers or aspiring managers who need to achieve a Black FISS/CSCS card and embark on managerial roles. It combines online training workshops with ongoing mentoring to support the leader in producing evidence that they are a competent manager.

We’re based in the Midlands but many of our courses are delivered online and FaCT carry out on-site training and assessments across the UK and ROI.

Our online courses are incredibly helpful for fencers looking to expand their skills, and they’re available to everyone throughout the UK. All you need is an internet connection, a computer, laptop, smartphone or tablet, and a quiet place in which to concentrate. The courses are delivered live by an experienced trainer so you have the opportunity to ask questions along the way. Plus, online assessments allow us to confirm you have developed the appropriate knowledge to be awarded a certificate of achievement.
