Fencing Training Courses

FaCT has developed a range of fencing courses to meet the need of the fencing industry, from those entering the industry to those, wishing to need to develop their skills or learn about another type of fencing system.

Introduction to Fencing Course – 2-day

This is a module course structured in the following way

  • Core Modules
    • Health and Safety
    • Tools and Equipment
    • Breaking Ground
    • Material Calculations
    • Lines and Levels
  • Fence System Modules (select 1 or more systems)
    • Post and Rail
    • Post and Strained Wire
    • Post and Panels
    • Security Fencing
    • Gates and Doors

The course is a blend of classroom and practical training, with the learners learning all the basics required to install a fence.

On completion of the course, successful learners will be awarded a certificate of achievement.

Learners can then progress to the Level 2 Diploma in Fencing and gain a Blue FISS/CSCS skilled installers card.
