FaCT has learnt that that there are key funding changes from 1 August 2012 and we want to let you know so you can take advantage of the current funding available.
Level 2 Diplomas in Fencing –required to gain the Blue FISS/CSCS card
We can currently fund this for anyone aged 19 or over (as long as they don’t already have a Level 3 qualification) and the cost to you will be just £400
From 1st August 2012 for those aged 24 or over the funding will be halved and the cost will be £800
Level 3 Diplomas in Fencing – required to gain the Gold FISS/CSCS card
We can currently fund this for anyone aged 19 or over (as long as they don’t already have a Level 3 qualification) and the cost to you will be just £400
From 1st August 2012 for those aged 24 or over the funding will be halved and the cost will be £800
Level 2 Diplomas in Plant – required to be able to upgrade a Red CPCS card to a Blue CPCS card
We can currently fund this for anyone aged 19 or over (as long as they don’t already hold a Level 3 qualification) and the cost to you will be just £200
From 1st August 2012 for those aged 24 or over the funding will be halved and the cost will be £400
Fencing Apprenticeship Programme – a package including Level 2 Diploma, H & S, 1st Aid, CAT, Abrasive wheels and more ..
We can currently fund under 19s at 100% – this will remain the same, but from 1st August 2012 those aged 19 – 24 who are currently funded at a higher level the age range will be reduced to 19 – 23 and 24+ will get a lower level of funding.
Large employers
If you employ over 250 people from 1st August funding will be removed for all Level 2 and 3 provision and reduced for the apprenticeship training programme.
