Course Aim

To give delegates an understanding of current legislation and be able to demonstrate the safe fitting and use of abrasive wheels in compliance with manufacturer’s instructions.

Who Should Attend?

Users of angle grinders (fitted with cutting or grinding wheels), cut-off saws or bench top cut-off saws.

• Duties of the employer and the employee
• Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1992
• Do’s and Don’ts
• Storage and maintenance
• Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER)

Course Duration / Candidate Numbers

½  day  / maximum of 12 candidates or 24 candidates in full day

Certification

Delegates successfully completing the course will receive a  Training Certificate of Attendance.
